Base, which offers luxury clothing for children aged 0-16, will be opening its first store outside of the South East in Grand Central Shopping Centre, Birmingham. The 3,500 sq ft unit, situated next to FatFace, will be the designer retailer’s seventh bricks-and-mortar store in the UK, and marks the first stage of its expansion plan. The unit will be designed by Base‘s in-house team and will stock brands such as Fendi, Lacoste, True Religion and Versace, as well as Ellesse X Base, a collaborative collection designed by Base.
