BWD were appointed in 2017 by JP Morgan to provide strategic agency advice following the purchase of The Precinct. The project includes implementing a business plan to create a new retail environment for Coventry City Centre. The scheme is now well on the way, with the removal of the dated Orchard Link escalator. BWD negotiated the surrender of the existing Moss Bros store, creating a flagship unit for Virgin Media.
The scheme is running in tandem with Coventry City Council, who are undertaking improvements to the public realm due for completion in time for Coventry’s City of Culture status in 2021.
In addition to their strategic advice, BWD have concluded a number of new lettings, for example to Nationwide Building Society and T2.
BWD also advise the landlord on all aspects of rent reviews and lease renewals.
